Intro
These pages include short
descriptions and track logs for three walks Gemma and I (John) enjoyed during a
four day stay in Thwaite at the end of March/beginning of April in
2008. The tracks are shown superimposed on Google Map and you can zoom in
and move the maps as you wish. Please be patient as they may take a
few seconds to load especially at busy periods. If you open the track in Google
Earth then you will be able to view photos along the route taken by me and
others. You will need to have Panoramio checked in the Geographic Web Layer of
GE and should zoom in to less than 8000ft (2500m) when the 'blue dots' will appear. Click
on these to view the photos.
