Working on Saturdays for this small sound and lighting equipment hire shop in central Manchester my responsibilities included:

• Checking and mending hire equipment
• Dealing with all aspects of equipment hire including taking deposits and receiving payment

The shop also had a small sportswear section that I was called upon to run sometimes. Within all of these duties I was constantly required to deal with customers in a friendly and polite manner.
