Overview
This is a set of macros written for Microsoft Word 97 that started life as a way of making it easier for me to add help to Soundtrack Producer. Since then I have refined them somewhat however ironically I have not yet written a help file for them.
Feature Summary
- Automatically saves in the correct RTF format
- Easy insertion of topic title, topic ID and keywords
- Easy insertion of graphics
- Standard, see also, pop-up and search links can all be created with minimum effort
- Allows non-scrolling and scrolling regions to be defined with one mouse click
- Creates an alphabetic topic summary instantly
All the macros were written using VBA in Microsoft Word 97.
Platforms
I have only tested these macros on my machine running Windows 98. They are dependent on the COMDLG.OCX ActiveX control so you will need to ensure that this is installed on your system. If you encounter any problems please send me an email.
Please note that you will need to own a copy of Microsoft Help Workshop Version 4.03 or higher in order to compile the resultant RTF files into a Windows help file.
