Back Again
She’s back again, she’s been round the world I’m happy to say she’s the same old girl That I knew when she left, she’s been high, she’s been low She’s been in and out of love, that’s the way these things go Did she tell you about the time she walked on ice? He put his name down for the RAF For twelve long weeks they put him to the test They camped out in the cold, put him through loads of stuff All just to see if he was good enough Did he tell you how they felt when they all passed out? In a little town she had some space To know what she wanted, to find her place She worked really hard, she learned lots of stuff And she found the strength to re-find love Did she tell you about the night she saw the brightest star? Because she’s back again and it sure feels nice She had to go, had to grow, but it’s alright Have a drink on me and let’s celebrate tonight
