In Those Arms
The mist finally came down today and I can’t see anymore
These places can look so beautiful in the sunshine
But don’t you know that these hills sure get awful lonely sometimes
I’ve stopped and I need a place to rest
I can’t find anywhere
And how something so basic can be so much I just don’t know
These times I’m just waiting for tomorrow
Tonight there are no stars in the sky
The wind and rain are my only friends
All I can do is lie here thinking of you
I want to be in those arms again
Like the morning I can’t seem to find
It’s alright when I’m in your arms again
Like a sleepy ocean
You guide me the way to the other side
The road I’m walking seems so long and my load feels so heavy
Right this minute I can’t wait for it all to end
